Meet up with the community for your favorite Blizzard game every Tuesday! The main tournaments we’re focusing on are for Overwatch and Hearthstone, but feel free to play casually with friends and utilize Blizzard Internet Cafe benefits (bonus exp, more heroes available, etc. space and hours for cafe benefits may be limited). Tournaments for other titles will be based on community interest, so feel free to come out and challenge others to a game of Starcraft 2! For Overwatch, the brackets and prize pools will be combined based on region, with players in Orange County, Oakland, Roseville, and Spokane Valley playing in the West Region, and players from Colorado Springs, Tulsa, and Fort Worth playing in the Central Region. Feel free to come as a free agent or as a part of a premade team. For Hearthstone, each location will have its own bracket and prize pool.

Hearthstone
For this season we will be using the Specialist format:
- - Players bring three 30 card decks to the tournament.
- - All three decks must be from the same class.
- - The decks are designated as Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary.
- - The Primary is the main deck that players must start with for their first game.
- - The Secondary and Tertiary decks may be chosen to be used by players in the following games.
- - These decks contain 25 cards found in the Primary deck, with the remaining 5 being the player's choice.
- - In these following games, the players won't know which decks are chosen by the opponent.
The tournament format will vary depending on how many entrants there are to ensure that we’re able to finish on time. Here is an estimate of what you can expect:
- 1-4 entrants: best of 3s, round-robin
- 5-23 entrants: best of 3s, single elimination
- 24 or more entrants: best of 3s, Swiss
If, for whatever reason, we’re not able to finish the tournament within our hours, the tournament will be completed the following Tuesday at the regular start time. You will not have to pay extra to attend the continuation of the tournament.
Additional Rules
Start Time and Breaks (All games):
Please register before the tournament start time and be present at your location at least 10 minutes before the tournament starts. Tournament start times will be strictly enforced to ensure the tournament can finish on time. If you registered for the tournament but are not present to play your match within 5 minutes of the start time, you will receive a DQ for that game. Players can have a 5-minute break in between games, and again must be present at the end of the 5-minute break to start their game or receive a DQ.
Incomplete Teams (Overwatch):
It is highly recommended to form a team prior to the start of the league night (you may utilize our discord to find a team: discord.gg/EsportsArena ). If you still do not have a team at the start of the tournament, the only fair way we can place players is based on when people signed up, on a first-come-first-serve basis. If teams are full and you are an odd player out, the only option is to see if you can become a sub on an existing team. If you don’t make it on a team you’re still welcome to play throughout the night on our PCs and take advantage of Blizzard Internet Cafe benefits.
Substitutions (Overwatch):
Teams are allowed to have up to 3 subs for a single league night. These subs need to be declared at the start of the tournament and already be registered. Note that this means that if you win, the prize pool will be split between all team members, including subs.
Computer Issues (Overwatch):
In the case of game crashes or other computer-related problems, a team member needs to pause the match immediately. Call over a staff member so they can help resolve the problem. Once the issue is resolved the match can resume after both teams signal that they are ready. A game will only be restarted if the TO determines it will be.
