The final Rocket arena tournament (3v3)

Date and Time:

• Date: March 17, 2024 at 2:30pm EST
• Check in 30mins before the tourney starts (Discord)

Crowdfunding:

• The tournament will be run through Matcherino which supports Crowdfunding! 

Registration:

• Players will register via the Matcherino site starting Thursday, March 7 until 30 minutes before the tourney starts

Player Eligibility:

• All regions are allowed to compete. However, only EU and NA servers are allowed to host the matches (except if both teams aren't EU and NA)
• Cross-play must be turned on for all players
• Players must be at least 13 years of age

Teams:

• Teams can consist of players in different regions (NA and EU) However, some special rules will apply to that
• The team can only choose one region when they are host (Either NA or EU) for the entire tournament
• Example: The team agrees on playing on EU servers when they are hosts, so they are not allowed to go on NA servers when they are host
• **Since the cross platform friends list doesn't work you will have to queue snipe (get into the same game) as your cross platform friend. Please try and do this as ahead of time as possible as it can take a few tries. This also means that there must be at least 1 PC player on each team until a solution is found**
• Setting up games will be very difficult and may take a long time to get right.
• **If there are 3 different consoles get all three into one lobby. After that create a custom game and the systems will invite the others of the same consoles.( you may need to queue snipe the opponents if they are on a different consoles.)**
• When teams are made jimmeas or RoyZ Joy will come to help you if you are having trouble understanding this.

Names:

• Names with inappropriate or derogatory names will not be tolerated and those players will be removed

Tournament Format:

• The tournament will be uncapped
• Players from all regions are eligible to compete
• The Tournament will be double elimination
• All matches will be Best of 5's
• Bracket reset for the winners of Winners Finals

Match hosts:

The team that hosts the game, will be able to choose a map from the maps that are allowed to be played on

Since it's hard to balance NA vs EU, we decided to use a special rule for that. Shoutouts to Zuko35 for coming up for this idea!

• BO5 (Same region)
• Higher Seed will host game 1 and 3 and the Lower Seed will host game 2 and 4. If it goes to a game 5, the team that won game 2 will host game 5
• BO5 (Different regions)
• Higher Seed will host game 1 and 3 and the Lower Seed will host game 2 and 4. Try to make someone that's closer to the other's team region the host, so the connection can be as smooth as possible. If it's tied 2-2, 2 more knockout games will be played in both EU and NA. The team with the most KO's in both games in total wins the set.

Game-modes:

• Game-mode will be will be predetermined to cut down on the complication
• All items and all artifacts are allowed to be used

Maps:

• Maps will also be predetermined before the game starts

Match Issues:

• If a player lags out during a match, the match will be ended and restarted from the current score
• If there are any issues, please contact a tournament administrator.

Match Requirements:

• After completion of any match, a screenshot must be taken and must be posted on Discord in the #Match-screenshot channel. If a player uses a fake screenshot and claiming it's from the match they played, then the player will be instantly DQ'ed.

Streams:

• Feel free to stream the tourney! Since there isn't a spectator mode in the game, the tournament stream will be watching other players POV via streams.
• **Since we are doing 3v3 someone has to stream on each side**

Substitutes:

• Teams are allowed to have up to 2 substitutes on their team. Once a player is swapped with a substitute, the player that left will no longer be able to play any tournament matches.
• Substitutes are allowed to swap with other substitutes in their team, the same rules will apply on them.
• Contact one of the admins (Jimmeas, RoyZ Joy) if you want a sub on your team, Matcherino currently doesn't have an option to allow subs for some reason, so we have to do it manually.

Check in:

• Check in starts 30 minutes before the tourney starts! You can check in with Matcherino or by saying anything in #check-in in our Discord! (It is linked at the bottom (I think))

Prize pool:

• 1st place: 70% of the total price pool
• 2nd place: 30% of the total price pool
• Crowdfunding goal: $100
