How do I sign up for the Metalstorm Partner Program?
Tournament creation is open to everyone! No application required to get started!
If you’d like to unlock prizing, as well as exclusive in-game icons and banners, you can apply here to become a Partnered Organizer.
Once you apply, our team will reach out via Discord to schedule a short review and onboarding session.
What are the program benefits?
Partnered organizers unlock access to monetization, Starform-sponsored prize pools, exclusive in-game icons and banners, and a 10% share of all cosmetic sales from their events.
Non-partnered tournaments are designed for growth and experience, and do not offer prizing, cosmetic rewards, or revenue sharing.

How do I get exclusive icons and banners for my events?
Icons and banners are distributed within two weeks of the event being finalized.

How do winners receive their prizes?
Winners’ payouts are available instantly upon event completion and finalization. They may cash out their winnings through the payment method connected to their Matcherino user profile, such as PayPal.
The Winner Icon will be rewarded within two weeks after the event has been finalized.
Can anyone become an organizer?
Yes! Non-partnered event organization is open to everyone; no application is needed.

How do my players join my events?
Players are walked through all requirements when they attempt to join your events. Requirements include team signups, attaching a Metalstorm account, and fulfilling any optional requirements set by the organizer.
Optional requirements may include password entry, custom form questions, and Discord joins. Team captains are responsible for inviting their teammates to the tournament as well as checking in their team.
Can I require my players to join my Discord?
Yes! Using our custom entry forms, organizers may provide a link to their Discord server, and our system will verify players have joined before allowing them into the tournament.
Players may also send messages and request admin assistance using the Call Admin button from directly within their bracket match, no Discord needed!
Can I use prize pool funds to cover costs?
Unfortunately not. Prize pool funds are strictly reserved for the winners of the event. Misuse is taken seriously and will result in funds being frozen and immediate removal from the program.
However, Partnered Organizers earn a 10% share of cosmetic sales, which can be used to help offset event costs.
How many events can organizers run?
Non-partnered organizers can run as many tournaments as they’d like. There’s no limit, and it’s a great way to gain experience and grow your community.
However, Partnered tournaments (which include prize pools and cosmetics) are limited based on availability each month, depending on overall event volume, scheduling, and other factors.
Can Partnered Organizers still run unprized tournaments?
Yes! Partnered organizers can run as many unprized tournaments as they wish.
